Ariana Erickson, Development Associate
Ariana holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from DePaul University where she graduated with highest honors. Ariana completed a major in International Relations with a specialization in Human Rights, as well as a secondary major in Peace, Justice Conflict Studies and a minor in Spanish. Ariana is an alum of the United Nations 2014 Intensive Summer Program where she was the only participating undergraduate student. Ariana is also a founding member of the Awakenings Foundation Auxiliary Board, an organization which makes visible the artistic expression of survivors of sexual violence. With extensive experience working for various human rights NGOs, Ariana is thrilled to work at Heshima Kenya, the place of her first internship. Ariana is confident that her life’s work is meant to support and empower women around the world.
