Katherine Schlinder, Vice-President
Ms. Katherine Schlinder is a development professional currently based in Geneva, Switzerland. Motivated by achieving positive social impact and tolerance in the global environment, Ms. Schlinder actively contributes to a variety of development related projects. Recent projects include research on small business development in Guatemala and microfinance in Tamil Nadu, India. She focuses her time on research and projects working towards inclusive finance and microfinance, gender equality, and water access. She is also interested in working towards intersectional women’s empowerment as a cross-cutting objective for development.
She is currently an international consultant, working in resource mobilization and external relations at the International Trade Centre, the joint agency of the UN an the WTO. She is also an active member of the ITC Innovation Lab.
Ms. Schlinder holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Economics, International Political Economy, and Spanish, and a Master’s degree in Development Studies.
