Catherine Zawadi, Case Worker
Catherine is an ambitious, passionate, goal oriented and self motivated lady who takes up responsibilities in a pre-assumed potisition and does them well. A team player who possess a great interpersonal skill and communication skills.
She holds a diploma in community development and project management, with a certificate in community development and counseling. She is a social worker by profession, worked with APHIA II and APHIA plus in the department of Orphan and Vulnerable children and People living with HIV AIDS. During her period of service she was engaged on adherence counseling, providing psycho social support and livelihood tasks in the support groups, through the District children officer she did supervision on eligibility of orphans and vulnerable children in their homes with caregivers and rehabilitation centers on well being of the children. She also did a course in Nurse Aid and gained in experience I consultancy in clinical, nursing care and administration of drugs.
She is currently employed by Heshima Kenya as a safe house case worker. Her aim at Heshima Kenya is to see into improving the means of livelihood with ultimate goals in enhancing refugees which is the target population capacity for self reliance.
